In the midst of a busy life, it’s often difficult to find a place of calm inside yourself. This is magnified if you’re struggling with a major transition or another challenging experience: family/relationship concerns, divorce, work change, going to college, sexuality and identity questions, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, caregiving concerns, or illness.
Whatever you’re facing, no matter how out of balance things seem, there is wonderful potential for growth during and after the most challenging times. Seeking the support of an accepting, compassionate psychotherapist and counselor can be an important step in moving through the rough places.
The therapeutic experience is dynamic…intense, funny, focused, and at times challenging. Through the process, I want to partner with you as you strengthen your healthy coping skills, deepen your understanding and acceptance of yourself and your experiences, improve your relationships, and enhance your focus on living a life that reflects what you find meaningful.
My office is in Resource Valley off Jennings Mill Road and is easily accessible from Athens, Watkinsville, and surrounding communities. I am one mile from the Atlanta Highway and just off the Oconee Connector via Plaza Parkway.
Please contact me with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
I look forward to talking with you!
